Changing Cd Player In 2004 Ranger

Featured Replies

Im thinking of upgrading the factory fitted CD Player in my 2004 Ford Ranger Thunder XLT but cant seem to find out what leads I need (if any) to fit a Pioneer CD player.

Having asked at Halfords they have said "its not showing on our system so we don't think it needs any." but im not convinced.

Any advice would be great

To update I replaced the CD player with a Pioneer DEH-7300BT CD Tuner and no adapters were needed as the connectors were the same from the Ford Unit and plugged straight in.

I can confirm that having fitted a JVC unit, no adapters are needed and the Ford radio is a standard sized 1 Din unit.
