Hi guys my mk6 escort has started making a really high pitched wind noise from behind the center of the dash,it starts from 30mph and just gets louder the faster you go.its not the heater blower or air con unit.and it also depends on wind direction.got any ideas?

Hello. Has rubbish built up behind the plastic grill where the wipers are or in the slot which is the air intake for the blower, which is also in the centre and down a bit.
