Full stainless steel manifold and exhaust. Rolling road map and bluefin. The list is endless, best join the ffoc to find out more.

There will be more induction and exhaust noise, but I doubt you'd get any huge gains from just exhaust and induction.

A set of small, light wheels could easily improve your acceleration by just as much!

Hi, depends if you want to spend alot of money for a little gain in power, sure the noise it makes might be better, but it would cost. A Bluefin on a non-turbo car would give about 11bhp for £250.00, is that sufficient?

How about this then Chris:

last year I did a bit of a "See What You Get" piece of research,

1.6 99 bhp [100PS] petrol remap, extra 9 bhp, insurance quote [no more than 10% power increase improvement]well it would have cost approximately £50 more to insure than the standard 1.6 113bhp [115PS] go figure...........

Hi, personally I think with any non-turbo engines the cost of a remap outweighs the gains...

totally agree, a complete waste of money..............better to put that brass away to enable the "wanna be faster" peeps get a turbo engined motor sooner. Besides at trade in, it won't make a hill of beans difference in regard to the brass that will have been lavished on it..............but sometimes you gotta learn those lessons the hard way

agree as well i have one the cost involved in simply getting an extra 30bhp is ridiculous you need high lift cam bigger injectors ecu reprogramme upgraded filter and housing sports cat stainless exhaust that alone is excess of 1000 quid add to that rear disk conversion and upgraded front brakes from an st which means bigger alloys from an st not worth the hassle mate.

if you want just a little better then get an st170 snorkel a k and n panel filter remove the original intake from above the slam panel and fit the st one under neath the panel so its in the front grill this will draw more cooller air then get a stainless exhaust and a sports cat
