hi can anyone help my tempreture gauge on my car takes along time to get up to tempreture
when driving it starts to move then goes down when driving it today the same thing happened and only after 15 mins it started to rise to the middle and stay there
could it be the cold weather we are having or could it be the thermostat my heater works fine
as im a novice with cars could any one shed some light many thanks mike

tdci engins do take ages to warm up but with the gauge moving up and down it points towards a thermostat playing up, on the tdci there are two so which one is sticking is hard to say.
