Just a quick question about the digital fuel gauge on mk6 fiesta.
How accurate is it and how many mile do people get when the fuel light comes on.

Just a quick question about the digital fuel gauge on mk6 fiesta.
How accurate is it and how many mile do people get when the fuel light comes on.
How accurate........the guage gives an approximate reading to what you have in the tank, ie 3/4 full.......half full.....1/4 full..........approximately! ( don't read it as being exact! )
With regards to how many miles once the light comes on, personally i don't even attempt to drive the 16 miles back from my work.......fill it as soon as possible! I'm sure i read somewhere you shouldn't let the level in the tank drop that low anyway as any debris/crap/water in the tank will undoubtedly be sucked into the fuel lines. ( i say water because the more air in the tank the more chance of condensation happening although i`m sure someone will say differently! )
