Preee Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 Not 100% sure. I tried to fit a switch to my Focus but even though i installed the switch on a Focus it is not (ON) by default. My local dealed refused to activate the switch after talking to Ford UK who told them they would invalidate my insurance due to new regs around modifying Safety equipment installed in maufacture. In the Fiesta the switch is on by default, so not the same so all i can say is ring your insurance and ask them. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ams Posted August 17, 2011 Author Share Posted August 17, 2011 It's been mentioned on this forum somewhere. Pretty straight forward. The socket was already tucked up behind climate control. Ams Posted August 18, 2011 Author Share Posted August 18, 2011 Guys and Gals, My insurance people rang me back today and confirmed IT WILL NOT EFFECT MY INSURANCE. So the switch is back in my car.
