Think Climair Deflectors Really Add To the Look of a 3 Door..

BUT..!!

Do They Have to Come Printed with Their Logo etc..? (pics are not Fiesta)

I tried to fit my ones (well, my Brother did !) and the although everything seemed to be done properly and it looked good, the window wouldn't fully go up. Also it sounded like the motor was really struggling to put the window up so I asked him to remove again and they are currently just propped up against the wall in the spare bedroom ! They are Climair so not as if cheap ones.

I'm fed up of getting dripped on as I like to run with the window open a bit so has anyone any ideas on how to get everything working fine for me ???

Thanks.

did you read the instructions? i had the same problem and didnt think to look in instructions ( thought was straight forward)

when the deflectors are fitted you have to force the window closed( push up with hands when it reaches deflectors, or pull deflector away from window)

once the windows up, leave it shut for 12 hours, after that the window should open and close easily. they are just a tight fit and need time to settle into the window frame properly

Yes, takes a while to get the window shut first few times, and leave it closed for 12 hours to settle down, then lots of ups and downs!

Get a fibre cloth like you would use to buff the car after waxing,

add a small amount of petrol and rub in circular motions over the text,

Once removed then rinse with soapy water B)

Thanks for the advice. I'll get him to try them again. It was more the window motor struggling that I was worried about. I'm assuming that that gets better as well does it ??? I know you guys all love your cars so I know that if you thought something was amiss you wouldn't do it.

Cheers guys.
