my 2010 1.6 TDCI didn’t have one as standard neither mate,

you can buy on e-bay and ford can supply the parts for fitting to the engine for small cost,

only thing is you will have to give ford a chassis number of a focus that has the engine cover fitted on it as standard,

in order for the parts you require to appear on their computer, as if they put in your chassis it will display no such item

i had this trouble and that’s what they told me, so they went to the sales yard and obtained a chassis number for me and are willing to sell me

the required parts under that chassis number.B)

Do you have a TDCi? or is it a petrol engine - the petrol engines don't have engine covers but the diesel's do - if its missing go back to the dealer asap.

Spoke to dealer and your correct petrols don't but diesels do - I have petrol hence why it looks unfinished ! But I do hope not to belifting the bonnet to much !
