Hi guys,

Does anybody know how to turn the footwell lights, cockpit information and the radio standby display off after you have switched the engine off? I'm worried they might affect the battery. I have tried looking through the manual and as far as I can tell, it doesn't give you much advice.

Thanks very much

There is no known way to turn them off as soon as you exit the car, but they don't use much power so they won't drain your battery. Interior lights should go off as soon as you double lock , radio and dash stay on a few minutes longer.

Thanks for that. But, surely they must turn themselves off eventually even if you forget to lock the car, right?

Yes they do go off , some times they stay on upto 10 minutes , footwell after just a few minutes. Its nothing to worry about .

When you lock the car the lights should go off as does the radio standby. the dash display stays on for 4 or5 minutes and it doesn't or at least shouldn't affect the battery
