got a 1998 model mondeo 2.0 was driving allright till yesterday when it just started losing speed and power , will not pick up speed and the revs are really high makes a horrible noise like a rumbling rattling sound , garage said to me it seems like it is firing only on 3 cyliders not 4 , car in now giving it A FREE CHECK , what should i be expected a rought bill
any help thanks

if the revs are high but losing road speed it sounds like a clutch problem, have you got throttle controlle when in neutral?
