Hi all, anyone got any help on cleaning a new Candy Red Focus TX. I usually go to my local hand car wash, but I am thinking the car is only 3 weeks old so do I need to be doing anything different to the Candy Red paintwork i.e. polish/wax,what types.

Any help would be appreciated

Kev

P.s Can't fault the car yet!!!! (2.0L powershift diesel, driver assist, privacy, 18"alloys)

Hi, I hand wash mine with a sheeps wool mitt using Simoniz car wash, rinse it with a hose then dry it using a microfiber cloth. If it needs a wax I apply Auto Glym's Aqua Wax before drying as this can be used on black trim as well. This is the same method I used on my 'Tango' Mondeo...

Ive used this Turtlewax enduracoat kit Click Here for my car,
its a great kit brings out the shine and comes with a case to store all your cleaning equipment,

also Since your model is candy red you may also like these custom controls mate Click Here B)

Hi, that Turtle wax is good just for the box alone, however those heater controls are not for the Mk3 TX.
