hi im going to change the clutch on my car i was told that you have to change the thrust berring with the clutch because it weres with the clutch is this true as the thrust berring on the car is ok ?

Yes i would change it , small price to pay and the done deed is usually both to save any problems further down the line

with a good clutch kit you will get the bearing to replace.
