funkyd
Hi Hope everyone’s well, just a quick question. I had my car broken into last week by some friendly helpful members of society ( the F###ers lol ) and so have just managed to get hold of a new / second-hand window and was wondering if anyone had any useful tips on replacing it. My cars an XR3 mark 4 Convertible with electric windows and it’s the passenger door main window that got smashed. The new window has the brackets on it. Do I need to take the rubber seal out the top of the door or undo any bolts in the door to get it on its runners? If anyone has any tips I would be more then grateful for your advice. Thanks
MrRedman
hi just been doing a simalar thing on my focus you prob need to take the brackets of the new glass and slot it into the original brackets on the regulator tighten it loosely and send the window up so it sits in the correct position then tighten firmly
