Problems With Windows

Hi! I came out one morning to find all my windows down. I decided to keep the car unlocked and it seemed fine for a while until I came out again one morning to find them all down again!! And lately they have been going down as soon as I take my keys from the ignition, get out and close the door. I then lock it again and put them up. In the mornings, sometimes theyve stayed up and sometimes theyve gone down!! And yesterday I noticed my clock had gone off, my interior lights arent working and the mileage tripometer keeps going back to zero when I come to start the car again!! I know its an old car (1996) and it has done over 160,000 but Ive only had it 5 months and I just need it to last me til January!! Any help??? Thanks

does the rear spray washer work??

if not then take a looksie under your passenger seat for your very own swimming pool.

the join for the pipe runs just above the main alarm/cenral locking controller under the door trim.

yep great bit of design.

its a commom problem on the mk1's.

another common problem is the wires breaking down within the door gaitors.

er as this part of the site seems a bit slow,if you check out my welcome post you will see where i normally lurk.there you will find detailed instructions on how to repair the pipe etc,if that is your problem?
