Hi. I have a 06 focus tdci and just recently it has droped from an adverage of 47 mpg to 39 mpg. It has no loss of power or blue smoke. I was wondering if the cold weather had anything to do with it, or maybe the fuel / air filter needs changing. Does anyone have any ideas.

cold weather won't help, but i wouldnt expect a 9mpg difference!

Could be many things! from blocked filters, to a stuck EGR valve...
