because my car has heating problems i have to remove the radio in order to get out the digital climate control (so the hatnes manual tells me) when i replace the radio (i know the code ) how do i re-programme it??
also the book says that i have to have special tools (supplied with car when new) to remove radio , i do not have them. can anyone tell me if this is correct and where can i get them from. i have been told that ford will not stock them.
thanks

What model of radio do you have?
Removal keys depend on the model.
Slots will need:
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3cb80b0a35
Holes will need :
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item415f87d988
The code is dialled in by using keys 1-4 on the radio.
You don't punch it in like a pin code, it is done by scrolling through each digit with the keys.i.e-
if the code was 9876 then push key one 9 times, key two 8 times, key three 7 times and key four 6 times.
When the code is dialled in correctly then press key five to apply the code.
