Hello there i have had a engine malfunction warning appear on dash and the esp light does not go out.its a 58plate 1800tdci focus.i have had it checked by a garage and the code for fault isP2121 THROTTLE PEDAL POSITION SENSOR SWITCH, any ideas please .

This switchif faulty should be behind the Throttle peddle a black box , you may need a replcement , but check the wiring has not come loose

Drive by wire eh ?? Gimme a throttle cable any day. I had this on an Octavia once, had to replace the switch assembly.
