mintalkin Posted January 17, 2012 Share Posted January 17, 2012 an 06 will have a euro 4 engine so if you block the electronic egr the e.m light will come on due to lack of air flow, nobody i know has found any way around this so you either live with the light or unblock the egr. FOCA Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 The EGR blanking plate fitted to the EURO4 compliant engine will tend to pet the EML on, but this can be reset with a suitable code reader (eg, F-super/ Bluefin handset) the EML will eventually come on again (sometimes soon, somtimes ages later, depends) this can again be reset Many Euro4 Ford owners prefer this from having the EGR unblocked Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
