Power Steering Pump

I finally discovered that whine I was getting on cold morning although does it sometimes when its not been majorly cold.

Basically when pulling away from cold there is a groaning noise, I discovered its the power steering pump, even when warm if you stick you ear near it you can faintly hear it making noise. There is no play on the pulley though.

My local garage had a look and said because of the cold the pas fluid is thicker and pump is working harder to do its job hence why I don't get the noise when warm.

He did say as its not shot yet he would personally wait untill its making the noise all the time. Everything feels fine other than the noise.

In the mean time I thought I would ask if anyone has spotted a pic/step by step guide on removing the pas pump so I can be ready for it :)

Thanks
