Graham King
Hi all, I've got a Fiesta Zetec (09) which I've recently connected to my iPhone 4S. Everything seemed fine until recently when it dropped a call. It now seems that the bluetooth module is stuck on with no way to turn it off. The display just shows it's connected with the timer counting up even though the bluetooth on my phone is switched off. Having left the car over night the display is still stuck on the same screen and I can not turn it off, listen to the radio etc etc. Has anyone encountered this before or knows what I could do about it? Many thanks
iNath
The bluetooth module is attached to the panel underneath the glovebox, held up by 2 plastic rivets (put you head in passenger footwell & look up, remove center of rivet with flat head screwdriver, then remove rivet) The panel will fall down, then remove large plastic connection from module for 10mins. Max-SK
better and not so complicated is disconnecting of battery. after ten minutes connect again. i had same problem few months ago, and upgrading of BT firmware was helpful
iNath
I would argue that that is not better as you lose time, date, trip miles, mpg, average speed etc.
Max-SK
it's true, but still option in case you dont need those information in long term
