Thanks Milosh, I thought that this may be the case! I have already arranged to borrow another adapter, so I'll know in a few day's time.

The borrowed adapter has resulted in success and Eve is now equipped with Cruise Control.

Thanks to everyone who has previously contributed to this epic thread - this forum is awesome! Time to give Civil a donation...

Do you have DDS (tyre Deflation Detection System)? Perhaps DDS realized that your tire is empty and disabled cruise control automatically?... Just guessing...

I haven't got it activated but that was my thinking aswel.

Still no luck with trying to get this working on the Focus ST - All the wiring loom is there from the steering wheel to the fuse box, all the pedal switches are there, and I have installed the cruise control switches to my steering wheel.

I have used ELMConfig to activate the Cruise Control in the three locations, but still nothing when I press the on and the + button (above 45kph). Quite miffed I've not managed to get this working yet. Someone must have got this working on the ST by now?

Have you tried using the button test procedure to check whether the cc buttons are being 'seen' by the system?

Press and hold in the rear demister button while starting the car.

Keep it pressed until you get a tone.

After that, all button presses, door sensors and wiper/indicator arm movements will sound a tone if working ok.

No it's from an ST mondeo

The seller is falsely advertising the item

ST Focus didn't have cruise control and the mondeo cruise control loom is way different to that in the focus

I 100% concur on that one, definitely a Mondeo wheel.

Focus ST's didnt have CC until the mk3.

Is your original steering wheel the one with three spokes? If so, then you need to buy a 4-spoke steering wheel airbag unit. You can often find them on eBay.

hi do not panic you can remove the air bag charge from your steering wheel and fit into the air bag unit on the st wheel. I have done this and got some photos somewhere. you will also need to change the resistor values in the cc switches I found the wiring diagram and the values of resistors near the beginning of one of these posts. just let me know if you want to do this will not take long.
