Ste.P84
I am having a problem with my w reg focus 1.8 tddi. When i put my foot down on the accelerater it revs up to about 3 thousand revs and then back to 2 thousand and goes ok. It is like i have the clutch pressed in and then i release it is the best way to describe what is happening or the wheels are spinning fast then it goes back to normal. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? thanks
mintalkin
it could be that the clutch is starting to slip which would give the symptons you describe.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be? thanks hi there it sounds like the clutch is slippping, i had the same problem a few months back and i had the whole clutch kit replaced incl the concentric slave cylinder. make sure u get it checked out asap as you dont want any further damage, if it is the clutch that is on its way out eventually if unleft can cause problems to the fly wheel this is very pricey! hope this helps, good luck
