does any one know the torque setting for oil sump plug for 2010 1.8 petrol focus .Thanks alot

just do them up tight that will be fine

just do them up tight that will be fine


I would add with a ring spanner not a great big half in drive wrench, as you may have trouble removing it next time.

Also make sure its a new nut and washer.

My manual (which only goes up to 2009) says 21 lbf ft

are ford still using the sump plugs with the rubber o seal in them?

yes they are, I spoke to ford help line, kept me on hold for 5 min , its 28 newton meters.I dont want to see my phone bill though.
