More likely to be a clutch thrust bearing than the turbo IMHO... but thats not exactly good news!

Sounds likely a clutch issue, thrust bearing maybe. If its not effecting the car then I'd carry in regardless unless it starts getting worse, or effecting gear changes. Also if being gentle does make it better, treat it like a lady ;-)

Could actually be a lose CV joint also, just found out the hard way my car just stoped after going around a roundabout and would not drive, clutch and gearbox all ok.

lmao, i have the same in our 2008 1.8 tdci, i get what you mean about like a snappy clutch thing... i just put it down to the torq going throu the drive shafts and engaging..... i could be off the mark here tho

If you login to http://www.etis.ford...0D8A6.eccvas509 with your registration, it tells you there if there is anything particular that you need to be aware.
Sometimes, the best means is just call up to a dealer and give them the details and see what they say

the same dealer that told me i didnt have a easy fuel system on my car????? stood arguing with the bloke for about 10 mins, him saying i have no idea what im on about, and me trying tell him look it up on the pc..... i had to walk/drive away before somat happened lol
