Chucky
I have recently had a new turbo fitted! With new oil pipe, engine flush, oil change, etc... I now occasionally experience loss of power. The turbo is spinning up but there is a noticeable loss of power, also it seems to send a vibration through the throttle pedal and drivers seat? It also seems rough on tick over. Again this is on occasion. Any advice would be appreciated.
Bigdaddycain
Boost pipe not as tight as it could be? I had that happen on one of my old focus' TDDI's every once in a while, it proved to be spilled engine oil on the top flange of the boost pipe causing it not to make a good seal... Pipe removed, flange degreased/dried, pipe re-fitted, lack of boost never happened again. Does it feel like a sudden slipping clutch? Chucky
Hi, no It just feels like the engine is holding back. It's been fine over the last few days. I will check out the hoses though, many thanks.

Chucky
Can anyone give me a clue as to where the egr valve is on the 1.6 tdci? And the best way to clean it?
