If anyone wants non return valves, you can get them from any pet supplies shop as they are used for fish tanks.

My friend used that kind of valves, but they were no good - fluid pressure decreased too much. As there is many types of fish tank valves it might be the matter of luck. I prefer to use well tested genuine automotive parts in my car

also fish tank valves are used to pass air through and to stop the return of water in the case of a fault on an air pump...so i dont know how they would handle with the constant fluid being passed through the valve... may have no difference what so ever but its worth a thought...
+1 to pidu i think id prefer something designed for cars

Could somebody post a link to the hose they used to connect the non return valves to the jet, i bought 4mm dia stuff off ebay but it seems to loose a connection, so i figured someone on here could give us a nudge in the right direction,

I was looking at quotes recently, one dealership came back and said that a pair of mist and heated jets was just under £22.00 think the valves were about a fiver.

Which dealer?  The heated ones used to be something stupid like £4 each, but I can't find them for less than £25 the pair now

He does state the price of the "washer jet" and not "jet's" so I hope thats a pair!!!
