hi i recently primed painted and lacquered the bonnet on my fiesta, the paint is fine but the lacquer looks thicker in places, its only really noticeable from a distance, would cutting compound, tcut, colour magic help the problem ?

t-cut will reduce the amount of laquer so only use it in the places its thick, i suggest using a board marker (non permanent) to circle where its think (checking from several angles) and give it a go with some t-cut. once you have done all the bad spots go over the whole thing lightly :)
