Ur thinking of something else as far as I know acupuncture is wee needles, the tips are put in ur body different points in ur body send signals to the brain to different nerve endings, heard it can work for people can't imagine Lenny lying there tho .. Also had ones put on my ear, surprisingly seemed to help. This was all done by a military Physiotherapist. The needles were all disposable sterile single use. Most the problems are the left over blood that's clogged up, turned to jelly and is stuck in the muscle. Acupuncture basically puts the needles into your muscles, this then forces the muscles to relax. It helps to break up any cack and the recurring treatment is what fixes it. Sports massage are the same but without the break in skin and muscle. These techniques very much work for almost everyone's case but not necessarily. Tens machines send electric shocks to the muscle causing it to spasm and relax and this does the same effect. Just incase anyone doesn't know any of them lol. I think they did every treatment known to man except for Voodoo and Witchcraft. :d In the end it was a course of Corticosteroid epidurals and increased awareness of triggering events that helped me. I have been advised that surgery will be necessary at some point to remove bone spurs caused by spinal stenosis but I'm holding off as it's a long recovery time and can result in secondary nerve damage. I may gain more stability with reduced pain however I will also lose some level of mobility. Tbh I'm not doing too bad seeing as I was told at the time that I'd never walk again. 3 months of no sensation below the waist and a further 4 months learning to walk again and I'm still kicking and screaming :d 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On her birthday phil 14th November and she's complaining that i didn't aknowledge our 1 month wedding anniversary Seriously how many fella's do you know after 12yrs in the relationship that have been so strategically thoughtful that they put the bun in the oven at exactly the right time to have it arrive on her birthday, And she says i don't car pffff!!!
