pwwatson
Hi, I need to change a leaking core plug on the main engine block. It is in parallel with three others. Does anyone know what size I need, and where I can get them from? I've been told that they need to made of brass, but the only ones I can find that are made of brass, are produced in the USA, but I am not prepared to fork out that much money. Can I put any other type of metal in its place instead? Any reply will be greatfully recieved. Pete.

bean
Recently had to change core plugs on my Fessie too. Well, I got someone else to do them. They were well rusted, and one of them was leaking, which was playing hell with my coolant! I'm not sure of the size ford core plugs you require. If you're after a specific size, I can only suggest contacting the main head office for Ford.
ajt
@OP did you do a google search? Try the shopping option "Capri Core Plugs". You get lots of choice. Give a man a fish and he can feed himself for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can feed himself for always.
