MK2 Mondeo Door will not shut

Hi when the nearside front door is opened it will not shut again the only way I canget it to shut is by pressing thr remote door lock, any ideas what is wrong cheers paul

Hi thanks but that was the first thing I did thanks any way Cheers Paulit could be a gunged up mechanisum have you tryed a blast of wd40 ?
