Just now successfully configured my rain sensor and have my auto wipers working at last ! ( S-Max ) Have had it mounted for months now and had given up as even IDS could not do it ( no option for it ) ....Read and saved configuration then checked the box and went for it....couple of other little things i want to do but for tonight , i'm happy with that :)........thanks to Mayak for his help with translating the tabs for me.... :)

Just now successfully configured my rain sensor and have my auto wipers working at last ! ( S-Max ) Have had it mounted for months now and had given up as even IDS could not do it ( no option for it ) ....Read and saved configuration then checked the box and went for it....couple of other little things i want to do but for tonight , i'm happy with that :)........thanks to Mayak for his help with translating the tabs for me.... :)

The same situation is valid for me too. ;) Thanks primary to civil-zz and the all the other in this forum and in the ffclub.ru forum , i successfully enable autolock and instant fuel in my C-MAX mk2 .When we had tried in Official Ford service to enable them , we did not succeed with IDS.

Now trying to replace my instrument cluster with the instrument cluster from facelift model......

with IDS it is extremely difficult to enable or configure something, because in IDS there is no list with boxes to tick - with IDS you can load as-built code (from other, better equipped car or manually calculated code)

Thats correct Mayak, unfortunately dealers don't like to use AS BUILT data form other vehicles....now, thanks to Civil, we have a way..

Help, i recently purchased the ELM cable, but whenever i plug it into the car and laptop it just says cannot find COMport, i installed all the software that came with the cable and all the software shown here , the ff2 the config and the dll pack.

any help??

Can this program adjust throttle position control? E.g. there is a lag in the low rpms for my 2.0tdci and wonder if I can adjust it using this software. Tq

I think that is all to do with the map that your car's ecu currently has if so it is uncorrectable unless a newer file version is available from your local friendly ford dealer.

Thanks James_60 that means a remap. I also heard a ETC (Electronic throttle controller) may help to alleviate this issue.

I'm driving a Ford Focus 2.0TDCi 2008(facelift)

Today I got the ELM modified and I played with it a lot! I updated the Instrument Cluster and now I have the Eco Mode, but I don't have the green arrow, I only have the red one :(

Is there a way to activate it somehow?

I also activated the Auto Lock feature to 10kph and played with all the other featured.

I want to thank you everybody for this topic! It's very useful!

When i try to change the auto locking speed it reports that there was an error and hasnt received any data for byte 0, 1 or 2... what could be causing this? i am able to change every other setting just not the ones on that screen (no settings change)

What is your HW part number ? Can be seen at the bottom of ELMConfig on the Upgrade ROM page.

diesel is not a problem - all variants are supported: petrol and diesel, small and big display (I'm not sure if ST and RS dials also)
