Switched on the ignition and the drivers window opened fully, will not close by using the switch. The only way it will close is via the central locking system when you hold the lock button on the key fob after it has armed fully. I have removed the plug from the door switches and it still opens on turning the ignition on ????? I have had to remove the plug from the window regulator motor so I can use the car in all weathers. Any idea's are appreciated.

try using the switch from the passenger side,if not then look for broken wires in the rubber gaitor on the door.

Sounds like something is crossing over in the wiring.
