Searla
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give some advice...??? I've a 2007 MK4 Mondeo. Yesterday, I went to change the temperature, but when I moved the control knob I felt a "click". almost as if something had become disconnected behind the actual knob. The knob still turns, but the temperature stays the same (the coolest setting as it was before I tried to change it). Now I assume that it’s connected to a cable or another control? Has anyone ever had this problem? I'm going to pull the fascia off later and see if there is anything obvious, but any advice would be appreciated? Many Thanks
Stoney871
Probably the cable has come loose behind the dial or a clip has broken. You'll most likely spot the problem quickly.
