Hi there, i was hoping some of you that know more than i do to answer some questions i have lingering inside my head.

1. How easy is it to switch from 16inch to 17 inch wheel frames?

2. Zetec S Spoiler on a 5 door, would it look any good? I havent seen any of them around. It seems to be unheard of.

3. Is it possible to upgrade the dashboard? I have a Zetec but i dont have Navigation on my car, is it possible to upgrade to this and any other features that i dont currently have?

4. When washing your car is it best to use a seperate wax AFTER the original wash? As i currently use a formulae that includes wax within the wash.

Thanks for your time :)

The Ford navigation option from reading the manual seems to be software on a suitable mobile phone and works via bluetooth, not something that goes in the car dash as such. The only upgrades to the dash through the range are either cosmetic, ie the ambient lighting / chrome trim around the dial on the higher models, or due to fitted oiptions, ie mine has the parking sensor switch as it's got parkling sensors, Zetec S's have the ESP on/off switch as they can turn off the ESP.

I'm not sure what other upgrades can be done to the dash it's pretty much the same across all the range..

Thank you guys for the replies so far. I do have bluetooth and USB already installed, I dont have parking sensors, is it possible to upgrade to add them in even though i dont have any switches for it currently, i know i cant get cruise control as my stearing wheel doesnt have the buttons on the right hand side. Im gonna phone up the dealership and ask what kind of upgrades they can do to it and the prices etc.

Your Question #4 I wash the car as often as I can. I apply polish at least three times a year (it gives me something to do) after washing and drying it. I have discovered Meguire's car care products. They arnt cheap but they do a 1st class job.

Interesting I have parking sensors but I haven't got a switch anywhere. Where abouts is this switch near the ESP on/off

Never heard of a switch for parking sensors!

Switch is for front parking sensors only.

Switch is for front parking sensors only.

Mine works front and back on one switch, but also activates if I put the car in reverse. I use it more to turn it off when backing out the garage so it doesn't beep at me in the mornings..

it's on the right of the three buttons below the heater controls. Left space is usually ESP on/off, middle is airbag, If you have none of the options fitted it's a card or coin holder instead.
