Focus Zetec S Front Skirt Lip Fitting Guide Pdf

I have purchased The 2008 - 2011 Ford Focus Zetec S front Lip for my car,

it came with some fitting instructions so i thought i would upload them to help others who may purchase this item from the breakers, and not know how to fit it.

The Zunsport grills are very nice but the bottom one wont fit your focus unless you fit an ST front bumper.

 

All the items shown on my Focus are added to the factory bumper which is exactly the same as the bumper you have on your focus, you don't need to change the bumper if you want to replicate the above results.

 

First let's discuss the grills;

With the standard focus front bumper you have the option of four different factory built upper grills, 

Standard grill

ZetecS grill

ST grill

RS grill 

This is the ZetecS upper grill I fitted and had it professionally painted Gloss Taxi black before fitting 👇

 

The ST and RS lower grills are much bigger than the opening and shape of the standard bumper, 

The only lower grills you can fit to the standard bumper are:

Standard lower grill

Titanium lower grill

ZetecS lower grill

The company ZunSport don't manufacture a mesh grill to fit over any of these grills.

 

This is the matching ZetecS lower grill which I also had sprayed gloss Taxi black before fitting, I also dismantled the fog light surrounds and had them done to match,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next item fitted to the bottom of the ZetecS front lip is a TripleRcomposites front splitter, 

These front splitters are custom built fibreglass construction supplied with stainless steel fixings aswell as pre-drilled holes designed to fit the ZetecS front lip.

 

 

 

 

If fitting the front lip and rear diffuser; I would go ahead and fit the side skirts aswell to complete the design,

The skirts don't sit any lower than the existing sill but they do protect the chassis from road salt and reduce road noise, 

If fitting factory skirts you need to unscrew the existing sill protector slips before fitting the skirts as saw below👇 keep screws for use when fitting ZetecS skirts

They look good, 

hadn't saw them on eBay before must be a new addition, they should fit fine despite being non Genuine ford parts.

the side skirts are identical for the ST and ZetecS there's no difference atall, they are difficult to source second hand because they don't come off easily there plastic rivited along the side of the car aswell as screwed in underneath, Then there's a possibility of second hand one's being warped in the removal process,

I purchased my five door skirts from Fordpartsuk.com i think they were 270GBP in primer grey at the time could be cheaper now that the mk3 focus was released.

I've edit this guide thismorning to transfer all images from the image host Photobucket over to the forum,

This means the images will now display forever without me having to pay a monthly fee to Photobucket.

The forum didn't host images back when I created the guides.

I plan to transfer all images in each of my guide's as I get the time across the coming weeks. 👍
