I removed the previous owner's phone from the system and added mine but when I go to phonebook I seem to still have this other person's numbers as well as mine. There's no codes for the radio but you may be better off unplugging the bluetooth module for a few mins before attempting the battery (unplugging battery will reset trip computer - maybe it's just me that's sad enough to record my mileage!)
