Car Runs But No Revs

Car is running and there is no engine management light on.

Engine has been charged, Any ideas people?

are all the throttle connections ok?

Can you rev the engine

if the speedo cluster is loose then it wont allow you to rev the engine mate,

or perhaps the cluster needs to be synced with the engine and ECU

when i fitted the st pod to my dash i had removed the cluster, and i tried to move the car with the cluster removed and it wouldnt let me rev the car or drive it until the cluster was back in place.

i have had a new engine in the car as my cam belt went on my old engine and bent all 16 values.

The new engine runs sweet as but as soon as your push down on the throttle it does nothing.
