Hi

Just got a 97 p reg fiesta but theres a problem with the central locking on the drivers door.

It will lock but not open and i have to get in through the boot and open from the inside as it wont unlock on the passenger door either.

However if i lock the car at the passenger side it will unlock at the passenger side.

Anyone got any idea whats causing this and possibly suggest a solution??

sounds like a problem with the latch assembly or the internal locking cable. best to strip the assembly and see if their is anything obvious.
