Air Con

I have a 1.4 Fiesta petrol with air-con. I've just had the air-con regassed and checked along with a major service.. The problem is that when it's running at cruising speed, every 15 to 20 s seconds (presumably when something is cutting in) I can feel the engine hesitating A couple of seconds later it returns to normal. Then repeats it every 15 to 20 seconds later it does it again and so on.

This happens all the time whilst the air-con is on. . I returned to the dealer and they trest drove it, they said the aircon takes alot of power out of the engine. I told them that before the service, it only slightly hesitated when i was changing up gears, but when cruising I never had this problem. If it had, i told them i would have returned the car before now.. I have tried it on auto, different temp settings, eg , Low, 16degres , 17 degress and above , but it reacts the same regardless.

when the aircon is off, i dont have any hesitation at all.

Has anyone else had this problem,, and possibly have had some sort of fix.

Any help would be appreciated ,

I've got same problem...it feels like someone's nudging your car in the back every 20secs...I've not taken to ford yet though. I've got a 1.2 petrol.... I thought the problem would go away after it was re-gassed which was done with my service about 3 weeks ago but it hasn't.
