i have had a slight blow on my car for a while now, i have found that when a hand is placed over exhust end it blows from flext, is this meant to do this, or is it knackered, the manifold and flexi look quire new, when i got it from a scrap car.

Once you cover over the exhaust at the back end of the car there should be no leak. It should actuale sound like its dying down and when you release it it will come back to normal. This is due to the vacuum affect that is in the exhaust sysem when covered. So in other word you have a hole in your exhaust and will need to be repaired.
