Does anybody know what type of DPF is fitted to the 2.0L TDCI. Is it the type that has to have the fluid topped up?

Regards Brian

I don't think you have to fill it with fluid. ^_^

Thanks Kev, all the searches I have done suggest it is the ceramic coated one.

I wasn't aware of these type. At least that's some expense saved. Now all we need is a DPF which lasts the lifetime of the car hahahahahaha.

Kuga has additive tank unless you have fitted a 2nd generation engine. Which would be 163ps

Or build 2nd half of 2010 if I can remember.

Recognisable by the top of engine being different looking.

Those are cdpf but earlier ones are additive unless 1.6
