that carnt be good for the engine, pottering around???

Well the dash indicates when is best to change up and it is around 2K for every gear. But I do like to get more from in quite frequently ;)

I don't rev above 2k normally.

I couldn't be bothered with that! That's taking money saving a bit extreme, it'd be quicker & cheaper to catch the bus than drive around changing at 2k rpm :D £3 day to go bus ticket takes you anywhere throughout the city ;)

I disagree, it depends how quickly you get to 2k and change that matters. My car is very quick even when changing at 2k it still goes very fast. It seems to have a hell of a lot of power which really helps its too.

Hi, as you all seem to have different engines then the same revs would not apply from diesel to petrol. Having said that the ecoboost engines do not seem to need much revs anyway.

lol, 2k is like 20mph in 2nd, change into 3rd = no good need put foot down quite alot
