Hi I have a 2011 fiesta edge.
I have been playing my iphone and ipod through blutooth on my car stereo but my ipod touch is quite an old one so I decided to connect it through the AUX instead. Everything comes up on the screen and I can change the playlists/songs etc but for some reason I'm not getting any sound.
Can anyone help me on this one?

What do you contact to on the Ipod (dock or 3.5mm socket)? And where is your playback volume on the Ipod?
When you say you can control the Ipod on the screen (of the vehicle), have you by any chance connected to USB (not AUX/3.5mm jack)? Then you need to either connect to both (with the Ford y connection), or get the latest software from http://www.ford-mobile-connectivity.com) (which enables playback/streaming with USB connected only).

Apologies I do mean the USB port. The volume on my ipod is on the side of the ipod. I have turned it up and nothing happens.

I went to do the download and now when I insert the USB stick, it comes up on the screen that the USB stick is empty and it's not! Am I supposed to be extracting a certain file from the download or just leaving it as it is?
Apologies as I have never done this before.
