Quick update (will become more detailed next week I expect)

Il be filling the car up for the 3rd time since installing the scangauge tonight so will be able to compare car trip computer figures to the scangauges trips (not used the car much recently)

At the moment after 2 full tanks the MPG is showing trip average of 10mpg less on the scangauge, hope this sorts it out properly on the 3rd tank. I will also do the math for the next take to work it out for real. Realtime MPG figures seem about right.

SatNav vs scangauge-- Scangauge is miles better. Often shows + and - upto 4mph over the satnav (hills etc..) And updates about 4 or 5 times in the time it takes my satnav to update (tomtom xxl). So handy for speed cameras/average speed checks.

Update!

4th fill up (Everything should now be set up correctly)

So whats the figures....

Car computer reads 430.8miles since fill up
Scangaugeii reads 425miles

Car computer reads average MPG of 47.9mpg
Scangaugeii reads average MPG of 46.4mpg
My calculations come to an average MPG of 45.2mpg

So the scangauge is closer to the real figures. I expected the car computer mpg to be further from the real figure, so quite impressed with that.
