I'm planning to replace my (11-year-old, very basic Fiesta) with a one-year-old Fiesta 1.6 TDCi. Does anyone know whether I'll still be able to use my Tom-Tom in the newer model - e.g., does it have the same 'cigar-lighter' socket as the one I use in my old car?

Ford socket sizes haven't changed in years so I think you'll be fine.
