Has anyone seen or fitted a Zetec S body kit to a MK3 2012 Titanium Focus?

Been searching the net and cant even see them for sale anywhere. Any one seen them and any ideas of price.

Can they be had from ford dealers?

Thanks

HI, yes they can and they're listed in the Focus price list here http://www.ford.co.u...7352&blobkey=id under styling. Aprox £1600 though...

i persume since its in the list of options at ford for £1600

that the price would include colour coding and fitting which for a new car with new kit is an honest price in my opinion.

welll £200 more than it should be but coming from a dealers you can expect that. extra charge lol

HI, please read the price list as I posted:

"Bodykit, 5 Door (Primed, lower front splitter, front cluster lower grill, side skirts,

rear bumper skirt/diffuser, rear spoiler)

Various from £1,680.00"

From that I deduce the kit can be supplied, then sprayed and fitted for extra..

ok mate,

european-parts in germany can do the full genuine ford kit including the sports grills for

£431.85 Cheaper Than Ford and Ford Manufacture the kit

they are £1,248.15 for all of the kit including the sports grills.

excluding shipping from germany at an estimated Cost of £150 via DHL

Genuine Mk3 Focus Sports Grills

http://www.european-...11ec5n66skrp6b2

Genuine Mk3 Focus Front Splitter

http://www.european-...11ec5n66skrp6b2

Genuine Mk3 Focus Rear Diffuser

http://www.european-...11ec5n66skrp6b2

Genuine Mk3 Focus Side Skirts

http://www.european-...11ec5n66skrp6b2

Genuine Focus Mk3 Rear Spoiler

http://www.european-...roducts_id/1248

Totals to £1,248.15 excluding Postage,

supplied in Primer grey with the exception of the Sports grills,

they are supplied in gloss black finish.

so with the £431.85 saved not buying from your local Dealer.

this would cover the cost of spraying/fitting at an estimated cost of £400

aswell as 20% of the shipping cost from Germany at an estimated £150

so were still on the right track with the overall ball park figure of £1,680.00 supplied and fitted

but a little over budget by -£118.15

if estimations on shipping charges and body shop fees are correct ;)

Hi, some good prices there because of the weakness of the euro, and I guess that because they are genuine Ford parts then any warrenty would still be intact..

i would have assumed since ford have ownership of the parts and they are the sole manufacturer and distributor of the kit then surely they would have the one cost price for each individual part regardless of currency and country the core cost of manufacturing a trademarked and licensed product would be the same no matter where it was selling from or to.

but it seems strange that an independent German tuning company can sell the genuine licensed ford parts for cheaper than the local ford dealer can while still making a profit on them, why are ford leaving themselves open to being undercut by their trade customers.

I’ve bought a Genuine Ford mk2.5 Zetec s grill from European-parts in Germany for £10 less that Payne’s could sell it to me for too.

and regarding the warenty side of things,

im sure ford would need to be the ones fitting the genuine kit to the car in order for them to class it as part of the cover.

but in terms of a perfect fit on the car, the genuine parts would be the way to go.

I know this is a bit of a dead thread now but does anyone know wether the focus St side skirts fit the standard focus or are the zetec s skirts different??

I'm finally in the process of putting on the full kit to my titanium x, rather expensive for an apprentice wage though

Cheers, josh

so ive got the full kit fitted now however the body shop did a sh*t job on the front skirt, ive complained and they have come back saying that the zetec s skirt requires a different front bumper to the standard model. personally i cant believe that at all but is there anyone that could tell me for definite if this is the case ?

cheers, josh

There talking crap u just remove the plastic pieces from the bottom, drill some holes for the fixing points using the markers provided with the skirt and fit on, took me about 10 mins to drill and fit it on with the help of another pair of hands.

exactly what i thought; they fu*#ed it up and dont want to go back over it again. i will have to try and take it off partially and re-fix it myself. cheers for confirming it for me.

If you remove it then u will need some more of the fixing tape that seals the line to the main bumper.
