Depends on the courtesy carI live about a half mile from the station and about 3 from the service depot but haven't got my car to do it with. Unless everyone will accept a courtesy car instead.?

Damn! I'm actually going the post office tomorrow, but it is in the back of a Co-Op store which isn't visible from the car park anyway 
Don't think they'd appreciate me driving my car into the shop

We used to have the only crossroads in the country with 4 P's on each corner, a post office, a police station, a pub & a parish church which was in the Guinness book of records.
However, they closed the post office several years ago & it is now an estate agent's
Sadly, it looks likely that the police station will soon be closed, see here:
