Hi guys,

new to the forum and in like a shot with a question. I hope someone has the time to give me a dig out with this.

I have a tdci focus, an '08, 1.6 tdci.

Problems started last weekend with it dying a little on acceleration and what have you. Got a mechanic to plug it in and the cam shaft position sensor came back with a fault. Sure enough the symptoms agreed with the diagnosis. I ordered the sensor today, for 20 euro and thats all well and good. Now the only problem I have is locating the sensor in order to replace it !

I was wondering if anyone has replaced this particular part on their own car, where its located on my particular model and if there is anything I need to look out for when replacing it.. (he's not looking for much says you :D )

Hallo to all and thanks in advance for anyone's help and time.

You're in joint first place so far this year for bring back from the dead a 10 year old post 🙄

@Sledger2003 has not darkened the doors of this forum since 3rd October 2012, so you probably have a slightly better chance of winning the lottery than getting a reply.
