Hi guys,

Immediately to the right of the power steering reservoir at the top left of the pic, there is (what I think) an earthing cable attached to a small bracket, which is attached to the engine.

See this pic: http://images.gtcarlot.com/pictures/38402939.jpg

On my focus, the cable has completely snapped.

Where does it go?

no point in paying ford for one of these,

you can easily purchase some single core 20amp cable and crimp connectors,

attach one crimp ring terminal to the hole where the original has broken and bolt in on place,

then run the cable diectly to the negative terminal on the battery of the car.

and affix with another crimp ring terminal job done.

Thanks guys. I got a bit caught in the moment and ordered one from ford (for a fiver).

If I find any more I shall be making my own.

this kit is a good upgrade if you find yourself needing to mend any more of them
