Read the description, esp. thisany advice ?
Please note that it does not copy/cloning/duplicate rolling code
and forget about it (for vehicle application - all OEM remote car keys using rolling code).

At the moment I have 2 keys for my focus, but only one remote, I'd like to have a second remote, the fact is ford charges quite a lot of a second remote, I'd like to save money.

if you read the manual on your focus,
it will tell you how to programme an aditional key to the car without the need for any programmer,
then you just need to get a place to cut the key blade for you, and also programme the glass chip to communicate with the immobiliser in the car.
but the wireless communication to get the new key to lock and unlock the car can be done by yourself with just the car and your existing key.

then I just need to buy a genuine ford focus remote and program it myself, right ?
I've found this one

but according to the seller only a specialist can program it

you can programme the central locking part yourself.
but a specialist will need to programme the glass chip in the key so as the imobiliser will allow the key to start the engine.
and you will need to have the key cut.

the fact is I already have 2 keys, but only 1 remote, so basically apart for the key (which requires to be cut and programmed) I can do the programming of the remote myself

yes you can programme the fob part to unlock the car and boot aswell as locking the car.
by yourself.
i also purchased a second flip key from ebay.
but when i told my local key place that i bought it for £15 on ebay he refused to programme or cut it for me because he sells them for £150 and says that he wouldnt cut mine because it wasnt a genuine key.
even though i know it is and it unlocks my car the same as the original.
